The total number of participants registered for this activity was 557 people from various countries such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Malaysia, India, and Indonesia. The participants came from various backgrounds, including lecturers, researchers, practitioners, students, fishery extension workers, teachers, and fisheries entrepreneurs. Webinar activities like this can provide broader benefits to the community, not only domestically but also to foreign countries. Also, online webinars’ implementation dramatically reduces the various costs needed, especially those related to renting places and others. Besides, this activity is also the starting point for implementing cooperation with multiple campuses to establish collaboration in education, research, and community service. In the future, it is hoped that there will be more international webinars that can be held by BP Study Program, FPIK UB.
