Study Program Profile
Based on the Minister of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia Decree No. 0174/0/1983 about Study Program Structuring in the Faculty within the University / State Institute and the Higher Education General Director Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia Decree No. 118 / DIKTI / 1984 about type and total of study program in each study program on the Faculty in Universitas Brawijaya, so Faculty of Fisheries Universitas Brawijaya settle to have one department, that is : Water Resource Management Department in charge of three study programs, that is : Fisheries Resource Management Study Program (MSP), Fisheries Product Processing Study Program (PHP), Fisheries Socio-Economic Study Program (SEP)
To become an institution that produce qualified, excellent and internationally standardized human resources and to be able to optimize the productivity of fisheries resources using sustainable aquaculture in 2025
To organize the learning processes which includes education, research and community service for developing qualified graduates who have future insight, discipline, highly moral and entrepreneurial mindset
The purpose of Study Program of Aquaculture is to produce Bachelor of Fisheries who :
- Capable and have the skills to manage environmentally friendly aquaculture;
- Capable and have the skills to select / determine aquaculture systems modified with reference to the potential of aquatic resources;
- Capable and have the skills to determine the allocation of an aquatic;
- Capable and have the skills to classify a type of aquatic;
- Capable and have the skills to analyze the quality of water for the fisheries business;
- Capable of entrepreneurship.
